COLOURING PASTES

Characteristics
Colouring pastes with definite and steady concentration of inorganic and organic pigments, according on the dyes pre-dispersed and milled in a suitable wetting vehicle and free of ethylene glycol. The characteristics and concentrations of pigments have been selected to realize accurately a wide range of colours through the colouring system. The painting takes place after distribution, through simple mixture of these pastes with CASATI base products. The quantity of pastes to be used depends on the dyes you want to obtain. The maximum percentage to be utilized in the products should not exceed the 10% of the volume. The product should not be used alone but just to colour other products, either water-based or solvent based. It is recommended to mix carefully the paste before pouring it in the canister.

Selection of the pigments
The main aim was to create a wide range of dyes using the lowest quantity of colouring pastes, preserving the quality and the technical characteristics of the products, after the realization of the dyes. In the selection of the pigments a goods resistance to the atmospheric agents has not been failed, considering the universality of these pastes.

Compatibility
We chose a wetting vehicle compatible with a wide range of products, from the alkydic enamel in turpentine to the water-based paint for interior and exterior.

Notes
It is recommended the use of organic pigments in highly basic systems (silicates, limes…). For all the shades realized with pastes based on organic pigments, it is advised to insulate the mineral support with a suitable material, before the application.
