Italy’s new Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003)

The treatment of the information relative to the users is based on principles of correctness, lawfulness, clearness and protection of the privacy.

1) Casati Spa informs that, on the base of art.13 of the law n.196/2003, the personal data here collected have the purpose to record the user for the activation of the service requested supplying information on Casati products and services, as well as on the initiatives promoted by Casati Spa. The data in question will be dealt in paper, computing and telematic form and will be used with the greatest reserve exclusively by the above-mentioned firm, for contractual needs, as well as to allow an efficacious administration of the business relations. Any lack of communications, when not compulsory, will fall exclusively on the quickness and efficacy of the reply of the company to the requirements of the user.

2) The supplied e-mail addresses may be used by Casati Spa and by its sell net to inform the user about future trade initiatives, notifications of new products, services and offers, sending of advertising material concerning services similar to that object of the business relation.

3) The treatment at point 1) will be effected with the sole purpose of carry out the detailed requests otherwise what stated at number 2) will be effected only upon notice. In the case you don't agree, any consequences will rise except that for the impossibility to carry out initiatives directed to improve our service, as well as to keep the information on the developments of our offer, up-to-date. Also in case of approval, the user will have the right to oppose in any time to the treatment in object, by sending an e-mail to the address casati@casati.it.

4) The informatic systems and the software procedures for the working of the web site www.casati.it acquire, during their normal exercise, some personal dates which exchange is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. These information are not collected to be associated to related identified subjects. In this class of dates are included IP addresses or the dominion names of the computers utilized by users connected to the web site, the addresses in URI notation (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the requested resources, the time and the day of the request, the types and dimensions of the requested files, the duration of the visit, the number code indicating the state of the answer given by the server (good result, error, etc.) and other parameters relative to the operative system and to the informatic sphere of the user. These data are used for the only purpose to obtain statistics anonymous information on the use of the web site and to check its right function. These data will not in any case be transmitted to third subjects or developed.

5) we do not make use of cookies for the transmission of personal character information, nor persistent cookies of any type are used.

6) The user concerned will be entitled to exercise all the rights provided in art.7 of the law 196/2003 (among which the right of access, rectification, revision, opposition to the treatment and cancellation) referring to Colorificio A. & B. Casati Spa, Via Valpantena 59/b - Poiano 37142, owner of the treatment.
